Alright, that's a fun development. Though I suppose Tomita has now become a looming thread that is definitely going to come back after this arc. Because given the previous chapter, she seems to have hearing problems as well. So it's not unlikely that's she's taken the semester off to deal with the fact that she's going deaf herself.

pianist and conductor

they could become a great duo if after the chorus get successful, Kanon decided to pursue the path of becoming a pro conductor like her dad.

since both have synchronized well to each others, i wish for best for them~

God. I love this manga. It's great to see Kanon realize how much of a change Saki has brought to her life. Also is fantastic how she's so strong and decided instead of being the constant damsel in distress of the series.

See you in a few months LMAO.

Thanks for chapter!

TN note on PG.13: Probably regarding “Canon” style in classical music?

Kanon’s name is homophone to “Canon”, a style of composition used in classical music. The biggest example (and the one the chapter is probably referring to) is Canon in D by Johann Pachelbel. If this rings a bell, you’ve probably heard “Canon Rock” by JerryC, a modern guitar arragenment for this piece.

This reference goes in line with the rest of the series, as Grandes études de Paganini, S. 141. “La campanella” has been referenced (Romantic era) and Suite bergamasque II. “Clair de lune” as well (Impressionist era)
