It's not just kids that would react that way, tbh. If your entire worldview and people you trusted and loved turned out to be cowardly murderers, lots of people would lash out and freak out, at the very least until they've had time to calm down and think it through. And in many cases they might even try to rationalize and gloss over it to try to maintain some semblance of stability in their life. If she calmly and rationally accepts that her beloved parents are terrible people, even if it's the right thing to do, what does she have left?

I feel bad for the daughter. She clearly likes her family, and, to be honest, she is really smart. She saved her parents' life. She saw MC wanted money and went to get all the money they had, so he would go away.

And, to be honest, if someone gouges out the eyes of someone you love in front of you, I doubt you would be like, "Well, they deserved it. We are now even, ok?" Even if your loved one actually deserved it. You might want your loved one to be punished in some way, but you don't want them to get hurt. Much less turned into a disabled person. So, imo, anyone who says she was stupid for saying "I hate seekers!" is either a hypocrite, has a few screws loose or doesn't care about anyone other than themselves.

MC could have handled in a better way, so that the daughter wouldn't hate him, but that's not how he rolls. I mean, he sold his ex party members to a slave trader after they betrayed him. The village chief met him once, so why would he show mercy to him, who was basically a stranger?

tbh this this really shows how cruel the world really is i am not blaming the mc i think he is kinda justified in a sense like for almost getting 2 people killed by misinformation and after trying to kill them i think 1 eye and 800k is good enough because it could have been worse like him selling them to be slave as in this world it seems like criminals can just be sold to be slave and an average slave can be sold for 3 to 6 m the mc could have gotten soo much more but he did not do it so its good that he still got the heart to not to do that
