@shunnie : iirc, Liz want to be friend with Aira and help her get used to society here, but the prince think Liz is being typical otome villainess to Aira (i.e. "wao you commoner, learn you place" sort) and then aggressively protect/isolate her to himself.
Aira is...well, mentally dependent on him after having been protected/sheltered by him for so long that she couldn't speak up against his decision.

I hate that in the novel she never assumes any responsibility for her shit and it's all swept under the rug with the excuse that she was afraid and the prince was the only one offering her protection in a foreign word. Fuck that shit! I wouldn't mind if she was clinging to him in the first few days because she knew no one but it has been 10 months and he is acting like a chick that imprinted on its mother. She also heard all the rumours about her being the side bitch of an engaged guy but she still didn't change her behavior. Fuck her. I almost dropped this because of how easily she got away with everything but I like the MC and most of the other characters so I'm just bearing with it
