The prince ML later on is an insufferable bore who abused his authority in order to punish the Heroine's father, he has yet to announce his engagement intents for the villainess FL or his own status to anyone (including the FL) prior to the meme of a "court session" ending and yet proceeds to claim lese-majesty, which is generally regarded as when someone knowingly besmirches royalty. He could have ended all of FL's persecution without the joke scenario of a "court" by revealing who he was and forcing the truth out of all perpetrators, the Heroine is pretty much just freed with no real punishment, pinning every single thing on her father in a way that leaves the reader feeling neck-breakingly forced. Spare yourself disappointment.
