Manga characters being able to effortlessly go from overweight chubby characters to slim and sexy in two pages gotta be a top pet peeve of mine, same thing that happens in one of Cheating Men Must Die’s arcs. At least try and make it seem like a tiny bit believable of a process if you aren’t gonna have it be something that the protag struggles to do.

Word, it took me a whole year to lose 70lbs and even that was pushing the extreme end of how fast the weight loss was going at times.

The only way she gonna lose that much weight without Author Magic is literally Cancer

What has he got to lose? For a while now, ever since she tripped, she hasn't abused him once. He's stuck in that house for better or for worse. He's actually been genuinely worried about the house falling into ruin, perhaps because of his "outsider's" point of view. Now Julianne seems to be concerned about the bad financial situation as well. It's nothing but a plus for him, and it has got nothing to do with forgiving her. He just needs to have the presence of mind to separate his own grudges from saving the estate.
