To all: stress is no joke. It is more fatal than stroke or heart attack, as it causes more illness than you can imagine. So if you are stressed or feel like it, I would suggest talking to someone, having them listen, at the very least, to your concerns. There is no cure for stress. But it can be alleviated through proper support.

About this chapter: we see Mia not giving up and making Fernando change his mind (heart). Honestly, if you don't take a step at all, technically you don't lose, but you don't win either. And for me, defaulting = losing, you don't grow because you don't get the experience.

Thanks for listening to my TED talk.

Thanks for the translation.
Mia is clearly the most interesting characters, others are good, but she's even better.

Everyone is so nice to the first prince, I just see someone that isn't fit for the role of king. I hope they find a real solution instead of an incredibly unbelievable character growth, maybe a different government system.

Thank you for the message hurafloyd I hope it all works out for you too

Why doesn't Mia just you know assassinate this Fernando dude and framed it to Julius and his faction? That ninja gal could do it easily. While the political situation in Royal Castle in turmoil, she could usurp herself as the next queen or find suitable 'doll' she could puppet easily in the shadow.

Who can take over if none of the princes? The kingdom is currently is crisis due to monsters, and the political turmoil could easily paralyze the army on acting, causing undue hardship on the citizen.

Mia wants to live up to her sisters example and will therefore not take actions that harms the citizens unduly. So a long term leadership crisis is not an option. Julius is however also a major roadblock to an effective response to the threat, so Mia is fine with replacing him with Fernando. Fernando has a natural claim to the throne, so the conflict needs not to be prolonged.

In essence, Mia has no interest in the throne. She is a saint first and foremost, and will therefore prioritize the well being of the citizens. Julius is ignoring the threat of monsters and will not listen, so he has to go. Replacing him with Fernando is the least painful option and leads to the lowest amount of stability.

She is however also vindictive, so that the plan removes Julius is a bonus.

I really like Mia. Having someone like her pushing things in the original nation changes this up a lot from how these stories often flow.
