At this point it's more like an apartment complex with 3 decent families and 25 squatter clans wasting the place. And we aren't setting it on fire ourself, we give up preventing them from doing it after having spent every waking moment doing nothing else before.

The miasma wasn't caused by the noble so you blaming them as the ones setting the fire (unleashing miasma) is putting blame on the wrong party here.

It also does nothing to counter my point that you're leaving those good people homeless and possibly the fire spreading to other buildings.

Why exactly are we trying to save the people of this country again, because now the circle of "bad people" has expanded from Julius, most of the nobility that support him and the Adenauers in particular to everyone that believed the rumours about Hildegard despite seeing her everyday deeds as a saintess? At this point it'd be easier to just evacuate the innocent citizens to other countries and let the rest enjoy the consequences of their decisions.
Well, it's the nobles but the common people shouldn't suffer the burden as other countries might not take in refugees

Wow, you have the balls to call me out for one minor inaccuracy after I tried to correct your absolute dumpster fire of an analogy?

Mia and Philia loving each other is the only redeeming quality of the tragedies and crimes her parents commited against Philia, her bio mum and her bio dad.

God this revenge will be beautifully well deserved but also I hope so much that her mum can tell her herself who she is. It's not too late for them to have a relationship now.

Thanks for the translations. I'm really gonna look forward to the triple release in February now.

The only dumpster fire was your idea to ignore long term consequences just like the stupid prince.

Everyone sensible in the series has been on the side of trying to prevent the outbreak, so where does that put you who want to let it happen just so the people you dislike suffer?

No actually, the initial plan had been to escort Mia out to Parnacotta, leaving Gritonia without a saintess. It was just her that declined.
And Philia has been clear that she's only working to keep Mia safe, not Gritonia.

Surely you can't have forgotten that.

Deliver the letter (containing how to deal with the outbreak) is first.

If shit hit the fan is when Mia should be taken to safety

And again when Mia got the letter.

"That is the solution that my sister proposed to me"

It's Himari who proposed the option to just leave.

So no, the 'initial plan' was NOT to escort Mia out, it's a last resort.
Apparently YOU forgot that.

Yeah, we can safely say that by now, with the country literally days from collapse, "something has happened" as Philia put it and the emergency would have occurred.
Also I have slightly edited the quoted post since.

And another p.s., since you like to stress minor aspects:
To me, the "initial plan" would have been
1. Have Mia take precautions and prepare coordination with Parnacotta
2. Should 1. not be possible, evacuate Mia.

That counts as one plan for me, as that is the form that first arrived at Mia.
Option 1 proved to be impossible right away due to Julius' lack of compliance.

I think I'm mixing up who the 1st and the 2nd prince factions are.
First Prince is the one who has been ill and was being treated by Philia's medicine, and basically a character in the background until just recently. His faction is mostly all of those that are Mia's guards.

Second Prince is the douchebag we know that wants to kill his father, his brother, and anyone with talent greater than him that could stop him.

In a genre rife with "my sister/cousin/whatever stole my fiancee and caused my downfall", it's nice to see some honest to god supportive sibling relationships. They're not all-loving cinnamon buns of people, and in a more cynical setting both Philia and Mia could easily be turned against each other. A talented workaholic with poor communication skills can breed resentment on its own, throw some parental neglect/manipulation, and you have an easy recipe for familial conflict. And despite all that, the goodness shines through and they legitimately care about each other even through the shared baggage.

And yet that 2 was NOT mentioned in the letter, it took Himari offering the option of her own initiative for Mia to know about it.
Also, in 'my' term that'd be called BACKUP plan and not 'initial plan'

And Philia has been clear that she's only working to keep Mia safe, not Gritonia.

Here's her realizing shit's hitting the fan.

"we can save Gritonia"
:thonk:
Yeah, calling another country to deploy their resources to prevent the outbreak is totally 'only working to keep Mia safe, not Gritonia'

EDIT:
There was also this
https://mangadex.org/chapter/fedd58bf-c54c-42a9-aa30-10e8bd2608fa/27
Where she simply sent information to Mia and was going to latter come up with her own solution.

So escorting Mia out was not even considered back then.
Whether in your ego this even count as 'initial plan' is up to you.
