Is it bad that I have the feeling that if they manage to escape they won't be able to find them for years?

@CongNong Their original ages still probably wouldn't negate the current brain chemistry. It'd be quite reasonable for their new bodies to have some sort of effect on their overall mentality. The problem with this topic on all of these series like this is that the authors never actually seem to mention it at all, or they do say that the character is acting too mature for their age even when they often don't do so. The characters certainly seem to act younger than they ought to just going by years lived in their original bodies, but without specifically stating the cause of that readers are left to speculate and there's really no answer at the end of the day from that angle. We get to make our theories and let them remain theories forever, or we can just complain about the writing too I guess.

It's really hard to run away.
Especially when:
[ul]Everybody knows you
You don't have a penny in you
You're to young to work
You aren't educated about the world
You don't have anyone that you can trust[/ul]

But when you're finally free. When one finally surpassed the earlier problems... those needles coming out really feels great.

I don’t know man. The twins have such a one track mind it kinda sucks. They’re only obsessed with themselves and don’t really trust anyone even though they should legitimately know after reincarnating that not everyone is like rurahel. For eighteen year olds they’re acting like straight up like the seven year olds they are. You might as well not have them reincarnate if it doesn’t even serve the plot.

They should know better than anyone else that yea, rurahel’s a pos and even I was like yea, knowing rurahel I would have killed her on the spot, before she given birth to anyone, if she didn’t have the contract with the king.

Its a bit hard to read ... I know the twins were abused which caused negative thoughts like all the time butttt!! They should have thought about things abit more logically. The life in the castle is not bad, they get food, education, and the emperor and princes treated them kindly. If they want to get out of the castle, where would they go? How? Would it be better than the castle? Won’t they need to learn to survive? How would they get shelter, food and protect themselves? Especially when EVERYONE knows they r the emperor’s bastard child with their hair color :/ They should have at least waited for the right timing (when they have grown up) to get out of the castle.

They are supposed to be grown up in their previous life.. they are being very irrational here :| .. i mean, it would make sense if they were much younger (in their early teens or younger) in their previous life. But if they were like 20ish and still being like this.. that's a bit much :/

they're being dumb as hell for mentally 20-somethings. what are you going to do when you're out, how will you make ends meet? it doesn't matter if it's a whim, they're still cared for.

i just- ugh, i'm dropping this series.

I don't disagree that they shouldn't have good feelings about the emperor but what I'm criticising is the way the manhwa artist is directing the storyline in such a boring typical way. The bad guy appears in this chapter and muses 'if only there's a way to get the two twins to leave' and they just so happen to leave the palace in the very same chapter. We already know the twin's lives are in danger, so it really is a redundant scene with the mysterious bad guy. Lol I would still keep reading just to see how they correct some of the misunderstandings though

@Seracila I can't stand these twins tbh, just let them out and die in street, become beggars or smth, it's their choice.

I simply can't understand their logical thinking, they are one of the most spoiled and stupid brats i've ever seen... they think they are hotshot or smth, even Estelle (Im a child of this house) doesn't act like this eventough their fate is similar, her mother abuse her, her father kinda late saving her but she doesn't even give a damn about her being illegitimate children nor hoping to get treated like nobles/royals, she's just happy for her new luxury and trying hard to be accepted.

Meanwhile this twins doing the reverse, even from the start they were angry because the emperor "bad" for abandoning them, not appreciating their brothers welcoming them and doesn't even thankful about the luxury they still can have, simply turn blind eye that their mother is a malice... i just can't.

Well at least this misunderstanding will get cleared up once the emperor comes to save the kids from this mess, or maybe their guardian will?

Everybody needs to remember that that they are in a child's body first, and reincarnators second. Yeah no shit they only care about each other, they are all they've had through the abuse their mother has put them through. Suddenly being thrust into a loving environment is just going to cause confusion, and they will attempt to find any little thing to back up their existing worldview because that is what they've known. It is going to be a while before they can honestly open themselves up

I feel like some readers are being to critical of the twins.

Even if they aren't kids on the inside, going through the level of abuse they did would cause trauma for adults. Of course they aren't thinking rationally, they are suffering from ptsd and are essentially in fight or flight mode. I think the way the author writes them is pretty well done.

And if anyone should be criticised, it should be the emperor for not having the basic thought of "geez maybe they heard what I said since they were right outside the door".
