It's not like her power is a secret or she's some obscure unknown character. She's the leader of one of the biggest cliques in the school, with a power to create a near-perfect imitation of something just based on their remains, which is definitely available in the database.

Sure she created some diversion with some stupid company around chapters 142, but that company is gone now and there's no more scapegoat for her, so why tf would they not think of her as a suspect???

Not that she would have only had a single act, but you could say everything she has been doing so far is a part of a single project. Not sure what you mean by that. It's two powers out of twelve former queens who as a base need to have particularly unique or powerful abilities. So it would probably be more likely than not that some combination of their powers can effect mass destruction/murder in a novel way.

And I am not sure what your reasoning is. I mean, you just kind of described a use for it, that esper can hurt other living beings if they direct strong enough negative thoughts at them. There are plenty of esper abilities in Academy city which only purpose seems to be as a weapon. So what are you saying? An esper ability doesn't make sense if it only affects people? Like Mental Out? That it has to have some peaceful use? Like Dark Matter?

I don't think it's out of place. Extra sensory phenomenon is already established in the universe. It's the entire basis for AIM fields. Normally powers either focus on extra sensory phenomenon, or apply psychokinetic effects on matter instead, but some rare powers interact and even exchange between both.

At the very least, just reflection of negative thoughts seems like an almost trivial but related power to Mental Out. I don't think there's much question about that one.

In any case, in the setting there is not actually that much difference between esper abilities and magic. Both bend and reshape reality, sometimes with entirely new laws and almost total disregard for conservation of energy and momentum. The main difference is espers are projecting an internal reality to make that change, magic users are shaping the external reality directly. But the fundamental mechanism is related.

really? That's kinda stupid ngl, since she literally made a perfect copy of dinosaurs that can walk and make noise (even though they only lasted for a few seconds), so why would they think that she can't create copies of espers too?

Because her power isn't exactly described in the database.

They think she can use remnant on fossil or other stuffs who was alive and not about copy esper power with objetcs.

She hide the fact she can copy espers since the beginning.

What are you trying to argue? Did these powers need to be written down somewhere before? What's your reasoning? You said 'practical application', are you just randomly outraging or are you trying to make an actual point? You say this needed to be 'invented' to make Sha a threat, implying she isn't...how does that make sense? You literally just saw her use Railgun's ability. She could have killed those men. She also could have used it to shut half the city down, or caused other kinds of widespread damage. That would have already been enough. It's only because she's so vengeful, she wants something even more extreme. It's not like the story hangs on these abilities....and even then, as I said, they don't contradict what the series has established Esper abilities can do.

Lets be honest, your real reason is you had a certain idea about what esper powers were despite numerous pieces of evidence to the contrary, and now you're either wrong or the writer is breaking the rules or list you made up in your head.

Because it appears as if she is merely projecting them as she perceives them, not reproducing them in a 'real' sense. So even in the case of making noises, it would be like she is using an analogue to produce those sounds. Like a TV. It is not like there is a set rule as to how espers manifest psychokinetic effects. As an added consequence, they're also not aware she can control them. The dinosaurs appear as if that's just what they were doing based on her psychometric reading.

To a lesser extent, it might also be that outsiders aren't aware she can read any object and not just biological remains, and they're also not aware she can control them. But this isn't very clear in the story so far, and some students not in her clique know it too. None of them know about the power reproduction though.

If you were specifically fingering her already, you might still reason she could be responsible I suppose. But her power appears very tame compared to what she's actually able to do with it, and meanwhile a conspiracy in Tokiwadai or Misaki using Mental Out doesn't require convoluted thinking to be suspected.
