She's such a challenge person. If there's a problem, she'll enjoy finding a solution. She can go far.

Too happy to look like a final boss. Not enough malice.

Sure you aren't. So why are you trying so hard to look away?

There's nothing wrong with picking a favourite.

She looks like Alya? I mean, good pick, but I think she resembles his sister more.
Maybe, just maybe....that's is her sister, which explains the crazed look in her eyes

The manga is really falling behind huh, last episode for the anime drops next week so it should catch up eventually
Because the anime put as many chapters as possible in a single episode. And this is for every novel that gets an anime adaptation.
Sure, anime is faster, but usually manga is the better adaptation on the long run: no changes, no skips....

So… what does he see in her again?
Because underneath all the attitude and perceived haughtiness is a sincere young woman who gives it her all in everything she does. Even when it's difficult, even when it's painful, even when she's completely out of her depth; she's always trying her best. Even with all of her talent and natural ability, not to mention her family standing and popularity, she doesn't coast by on her talent or look down on and/or demean others as "beneath" her.

Add on the fact that she's an objectively beautiful young woman who has no few cute moments in his presence, and you've just about got what a lot of people would consider the complete package: attractive, sincere, hard-working, kind, and very capable. It's the reason she's so popular at the school. Then on top of that you have to keep in mind: she's only confrontational with and giving grief to Kuze. To everyone else she's polite and ladylike. And- correct me if I'm wrong- he doesn't hold it against her because he knows why she's so hard on him, namely that him doing the perceived bare minimum to get by runs antithetical to her own beliefs of giving it her all. Especially when she knows full-well that Kuze is much more capable than he appears yet continues to slack off.

I'd say the only problem is a lot of manga adaptations never make it to the end, they get cancelled

Thanks for the new chapter!

To be honest, even in the anime, the gravure model Kuze pointed out kinda looked like Masha more than Alya to me

Him picking a girl that looks like Masha might be an hint that she's the Russian childhood friend (that I don't remember if was stated as his first love) and maybe the last boss Alya has to overcome to end up with Masachika.
