I forget exactly what chapter and volume this takes place in cause its been a couple years since I read this early in the story. I know at the start of Volume 3 is after the upcoming debate, so I assume somewhere in 2.

Like most scenes from manga and LN, it wasn't in the anime due to shortening of the story for the anime adaptation, It's such a shame they removed such a strong scene from the anime. This is genuinely so good.

Also all the pain I endured while reading comments and whatnot from people who only watch Anime and not read source materials or even worse, the sh*theads who think watching anime from reels and shorts count... Painting Alya as B tier heroine... I really like her character, though we shifted a lot from "shy girl who sometimes speaks in Russian" I don't even care she is not the girl form the Masachika's past, she is simply #1... Sorry Masha...

And I apologise I had to vent my frustration a bit but I'm sure a lot of people feel the same...

I cant believe the anime left out such a golden scene that i think holds alot of significance in the plot. Thank god the mangaka is so faithful to the light novel so we wouldnt miss this scene

One of the benefits to manga adaptations, which makes it such a shame they keep getting cut short; they don't have to compress near as much while still providing a visual medium. Gives opportunity for scenes like this.
