Never had jam with tea. Usually have milk. Sugar only if the tea is bad and there's nothing else to drink. Or honey if I've got a sore throat. I don't think tea is bitter enough for sugar to be needed. Coffee, on the other hand... Well, still just milk, but some pastry to the side makes it better. Or some chocolate coffee variant.

Bit of russia trivia: "tea with jam" can be drinking while eating jam, that is eating jam 'v prikusku' (в прикуску) with tea; or just adding jam into tea itself and drinking it. I prefer the latter. Tea (black mostly, like earl grey for example) is good with anything in it. Jam, honey, some herbs, cinnamon, rum, cognac and etc.

(oh, and russians drink tea a lot, almost as much by volume on person as chinese do, seven cups a day? easy! morning or afternoon or evening? doesn't matter! as is it is summer or winter, just give me some tea goddamit)

Try doing it in the same "having them separate" way. Like, take a swig of milk into your mouth and then gulp tea to mix it that way. Then report back; even if it's "Milk escaped back out. Milk and tea are everywhere."

I have tried that before, but I don't think it works as well as just mixing it in the cup like usual. The separate way works better if the contrast is stronger, and milk doesn't have a strong taste. It's also more awkward to drink if it's two liquids you drink like that.

As of the most recent volume, a barely tipsy Maria stripped topless, mounted Masachika and forcibly pulled his hands to her tits while Alya was busy suspecting he was actually engaged in an ongoing torrid sexual relationship with Yuki. Spoiler: It's been a while

The mom and her side of the family is shit.

Kuze absolutely hates her.

Yuki hates them but not on the same level as Kuze, she still interacts with them because she has to but never shows her true goblin personality.

Their dad is cool. Yuki goes full goblin on him the same way she does to Kuze which is proof that she loves an trusts him too.

The mom seems apologetic and concerned about Kuze but never actually does anything for him.

The real villain in the family might be the Grandpa on theit mom's side.
