That was pretty sweet. Naoki is gonna grow up to be the perfect wingman in a romcom.

It's sad to think that his abusive father forced him to mature faster than he normally would, but at least it he's already becoming a better man than the guy will ever be. You'd think he'd be apprehensive towards every guy that's interested in his mother, but he's already sharp enough to see that Ryouhei is a good egg and that his mom could use someone like him by her side.
