I’m pretty omnivorous with my rom comsThanks for the chapter!
Also @Dingo777 I swear you're in the comments of every series I'm reading lmao.
same here lol, even with romcoms that I think "why I am still reading it"I’m pretty omnivorous with my rom coms
Did I stumble into the Houkago Kitaku Biyori comments by mistake?pat her, pamper her, give her a treat, go to caffe, go to a date, go to her parrent house, ask her parrent to marry her, get marriage, have house, have cat, have kid. Start with a little pat
If I had a nickel for every time I swore I’d drop something and then showed up next chapter anyway I could afford airfare to Japan to knock some sense into a few mangakasame here lol, even with romcoms that I think "why I am still reading it"
Yeah I was hoping it'd give some amount of backstory on why she's like that. Early in the series I was thinking "huh, she's a bit like me but with cats instead of machines/computers", then remembered that I'm that way because my childhood was pretty fucked lol.Woah, the quiet female lead is actually getting serious character development and has actual depth to her character outside of just being cute and shy? In my manga???
Seriously though, while the chapter is a little sad, im glad the author is actually tackling her personality, rather than just leaving it as a predefined character trait. Her being so into cats and so not into people isn't 'a cute quickly side of her', it's a symptom of her issues socializing.
When I consider a similar manga - Komi-san, that one really just used the social awkwardness as some gimmick for laughs, if never really got the heart of it in a serious, realistic manner.
What's happening here is much more real and isn't about awkwardness or just being bad with people, she's clearly 'running away', it's asocial behavior. Something really interesting to seriously tackle in a manga. I'm all here for it!
