Nekozane kinda reminds me of Tomoya Okazaki, only that she doesn't really have that many issues, she's just uninterested in school and people.

Is adding girl to the end of sentences the translators quirk? Feels kinda odd for a grown adult male to be saying stuff like that, feels kinda feminine

And then you notice, author switched out Seno's and Takada's traits (black haired introvert and blonde haired extrovert) and it's the best decision they've ever done.
I think the reason it sticks out more (at least to me) is Seno just feels so much more relatable and his insecurities are very understandable. And it makes you just want to root for him since it's being written in a way where we see his character development and growth from first chapter. And Takada's extrovertism just has him stand out as an awesome friend who gives that push to Seno to want to strive for that in the first place.
Also it's just a lot more refreshing having both MCs be different types of introverts (not that there is anything wrong with extrovert/introvert but it can't be argued it's a classic formula)

It seems to me that Nekozane behaves somewhat out of character in this chapter. I had the impression that she wouldn't start a conversation with a stranger.
