well that what you expect for a middle schooler. usually they are still on that border line that they're still pure and more honest than usual. im sure he'll be feeling awkard in the future when he thinks back that he is like that when he got a little older haha

I realize that you likely mean "so much younger" relative to how old they are now, but I think the age difference is only like 3-4 years.

Pretty sure Shia is on friendly terms with the girl he borrowed the FLCL dvd from (her name escapes me at the moment). She probably told Shia what happened.
