I think I would play this if it was a video game. Your contracted demon wolf pulls some Monster Hunter shit, drags bodies home and you make meals for it. Sounds kind of relaxing, and the fights between monsters could be fun to watch. The cooking system could just rip off FFXIV I mentioned previously, which is a bit more interesting to deal with than the typical crafting system you'd get when it's just a little side job for your adventurer.

@glomoro it sounds relaxing, but you have to remember that this is a dangerous world regardless. You can be caught in the battle between your monster and the enemies, or you can be ambushed while your monster is out hunting, etc. It may sound relaxing, but it would still be pretty dangerous. It'd be better if you had the stats to still somehow protect yourself in emergency situations. Unfortunately our MC, at least as of right now, doesn't have abilities like that.

@goodhunter Actually if we just keep stealing ideas from FFXIV, change to a gathering profession and enter stealth mode. Gatherers are practically better at sneaking around in that game than the thief/rogue type classes, as long as all you try to do is gathering materials. You can chill out fishing five feet away from some giant ass monster that would normal want to eat you and they won't even notice.
