A power like that might be nice to experience once, but otherwise it's pretty dodgy. It basically has nothing to do with Goro himself, so it might be difficult to rely on. He also couldn't be sure of any side effects. They should keep looking deeper for other possibilities. As long as it doesn't require eating the raw heart of a freshly sacrificed spirit fox from the village.

Does Goro-san wants to go the way of Kanokon? You know, that classic ecchi anime/manga/LN one?

It's interesting to see the series explicitly squash a "shortcut" to Goro feeling more secure entering Kogane's world. No, he's not going to suddenly develop superpowers. However, it fits the growing theme that it is the community around Goro that is his true strength. Just like Mogami-sama intervened on his behalf, maybe the shrine spirit will next time. Or Yotsuyu. Or Mutsumi. Or any of the kith and kin he's gathering through his connection to Kogane.

Thanks for the chapter! Can't wait for Kogane to up her attack to break down Goro's substantial defenses.

Poor Goro, not able to be Foxy Man, Foxy Man, doin' whatever a Foxy can.

With Tsumiki Ogami off to simulpub land, I'm working on another werewolf manga, at least the first chapter. It's (low key) funny, it's got a cute dog girl, it's got naked werewolf ladies (🙀😻). First chapter is 33 pages and redraw is a bitch, so it'll take me a little longer, but https://mangadex.org/title/042f6c45-b9c8-4c56-ab44-519eae617abd/oukami-shounen-wa-yoru-ni-naku
First off, you're doin' God's work bringing this here. The art isn't much to look at, but the story is cute, the TL notes about cultural stuff/fairy tale trend bucking are fascinating, and I like that the artist can and will make things serious. I was actually kinda shellshocked by the full-page execution notice, let alone that it keeps getting brought up.

Secondly, thanks for work on Tsumiki. I better catch the hell up before I can't read it for free anymore. Funnily enough I only found it because you mentioned in one of the afterwords you were working on it, and I found out it was THAT werewolf manga with the twitter(?) meltdown over the vampire drinking her blood and the MC immediately letting his imagination run wild out of jealousy. Holy hell is it cute, and Senga is a good boy.

I'll give this new one a look, thank you.
