It would have been funny to watch the reaction of the adventurers, people and the dumbass administrator trying to protect the Gate's Tower from Amamiya's invasion if Kouhi would have just casually walked into the tower just looking like her usual normal girl in maid outfit instead of angel wings bringing down divine punishment. Then they proceed to mock and make fun of her, that they'd send her alone and if it was a joke, just to have their ass handed to them in a very short amount of time.

I actually had a discussion with someone about this topic recently. You see the whole thing is that in our world God's existence isn't a fully provable fact and it relies on faith so when we read about a series where the people in it know for certain that a God or Gods exist we wonder why they wouldn't be extremely devote to them as we would if God just suddenly appeared one day and proved it. The whole thing is that with them God's existence is just a matter of fact thing and so they take it for granted. Rather ironically if you took someone from our world and then plop them into a world where God's existence was undeniable fact you'd probably end up with a person more devout than anyone else in that world.
Humans in our world aren't devouted at all. There's only a fraction of people that actually are.
The rest just does some good 'lip service' or claim themselves as devoted, because without there being any repercusions for their acting out, they can always fall for 'If I did something wrong, I would've been smitten!'.
Then there are people for which religion is either an excuse or source of authority.

In other words, basically nothing would have changed even if you switched up all the people from one world to another. A small population would be devoted while most would be trying to take advantage of it. And gods, unless they would be micromanaging the entire world all the time, would just let it go until someone crossed the line a step too far.

After all, do you care about some ants walking around out of your way, their fighting with other insects etc? Or is it only a problem to you if they get in YOUR way (destroy your garden, nest in your home etc.)? Yeah, that's the gist of it.

That's true; since our world didn't have direct proof, we would probably be way more devout than they would.

But in this case, Kyousuke literally showed off power equal to nuclear war far and his side is the ONLY one that has nukes...

They could at least understand that level of deterrence. It should stop people for at least a few generations. At least until the vast majority that were alive during this period pass away.

It depends on the person and on the god(s). I'm an atheist in this world, and if I were to be isekai'd to a world that very definitely had gods, but they sat around and did nothing while the world suffered or even worse demanded sacrifices, I'd probably upgrade my "crimes" from apostasy to deicide.

This chapter has amusing mood whiplash. As we started with extensive sexual fanservice from a garden of literal goddesses, then a divine admonishment that stripped divine favor from the effected nation's church, then the terrifying demonstration of how horridly powerful our MC's holds, then an amusing scene of one of the ladies assuming that she, the MC, and potentially other members of the harem will go out to conquer the enemy nation's tower, then a tease of the infuriated angel about to rain divine judgment upon the tower of those that slighted her beloved master, then national politics, ended with the cute revelation that the queen-to-be has finally evolved to be able to conceive the MC's child.
