If the body - or what's left of it - isn't shown, the character may not be truly dead.

When I think about it, using bacteria to manipulate blood is still weird. At first I thought it was one of the more normal ones in the pile of bullshit, but honestly... you can't just... manipulate bacteria like you manipulate blood?

Oh well, the power system never made sense anyways. The most normal powers are the gun powers.
