They are retreating to Marshdale not Mashdale. It's a pretty BIG deal to get the name of the city they are retreating too incorrect, especially when it's in the TITLE of one of the Light Novels. How? Simple typo, or another word invention.

Once again, I can tolerate Ostin instead of the authors intended Austin naming, but not Svat and the 'Motherland' russian theme for Sabbatian's. They are not Russian.

Back in Chapter 17, you had Rodri call Grey 'The Guy' which was an emotional disconnect from what was actually happening on the pages. ie. Grey mattered to Rodri, and he wouldn't call him 'The Guy' on his final stand / moments. It was disappointing.

Eh, Sabbatians are definitely tsarist Russia, with some weird Polish and Finnish influence (Kamakiri's name and Vanya, respectively).

Ostin low-key better name than fucking Austin, Texas. Not sure what's up with Japanese authors naming their countries after Western cities (One isekai had a state named Innsbruck. Come fucking on lmao)

Looks like the team updated the page to correct the translation. Kill was replaced with "Violate," which is much more acceptable for the panel. >:3

I think we cant say much about name, bc we dont have official English translation yet, and I dont think author write any name's romanji in WN and LN AFAIK. But about Austin name I think Ostin is better translation because Ostin have gun series named OST-(insert number)

Well this was an ... interesting Chapter. I expected something like that to happen after that "chill" chapter before. That's how they usually try to get us. As for the Strategy people in this topic explained pretty well why it worked so well so no comment from me. The enemy pretty much shook the established rules (or habits) of combat so let's see how they adapt to this.

Strategy: 1) Battles normally start with a magic attack as warmup. By skipping the magic attack, they caught their enemy off guard.

My issue is they don't set up any stakes for why skipping the magic attack is risky or how much time it normally takes or anything. They just waltz in and massacre everyone, it's kinda boring.

True, seeing why some people do things in the way it seems inefficient has reasons.
But it's a plot hole that not many will notice if they aren't a warfare enthusiasts
Plus stuff like that big offensives are very rare and risky since it pulls resources from other lines
