Because of the first... yeah, ugly thing, but seeing a rapist getting the living daylight beaten out of him is fun.

If the second... well, it is the ultimate attack troupe, they are fun, every shounen story had them, in a way ascension was just a "super sayian" knockoff, at least the explanation makes it more interesting in the context of the story... the late explanation in a flashback isn't the best way I agree, but is just one small grievance, personally I can live with it.

Honestly I do have a problem with how transparent RAPE EXPANSION is.
Not that this series was particularly original with the shonen tropes and things, at least from what I've seen, but it's so blatant on what it is copying and how late in the series it has to shovel it in.
It just muddies the creativity, especially since it feels like this sidestory got an expansion on its own to help fill time and build suspense on what happen to the girl that is dead a week from now.

Eh I'm fine with the concept of this villain. In a story where the MC legit can't seem to keep these ladies off him, I would assume that the opposite of that extreme would also exist in a man who can't keep himself off the ladies.

While I don't think it has to be utilized, I also don't think this author is interested in leaving many of their ideas on the cutting-room floor as he's pretty much used every trope and fetish in the bucket.

I think people were still coming down from the last arc, and perhaps expected something more of a light-hearted filler for a while until we jump back into the more serious things. Hell, I could do with less lewd and actual storytelling or simple humor.

Just feels like the sexual parts kept taking up more and more of the 'content' of the chapters, as well are getting more extreme instead of getting more creative with other ways.

My opinion, anyway. Because when I saw what's going on I just slumped my shoulders with a sigh, shook my head a bit and went: "This again?", like you said.

It's just a damn shame.

didnt the last arc only had "sexual assault" with that general lady that had Shinobu imprisoned? which i genuinely didnt enjoy, not because of it, because it felt like an artificial way for them to say "hurry Kazuya" although they had a time limit already... it felt unnecesary to me, aside from just lewding Shinobu

if people are thinking about the isekai arc, which had a lot at the start, that was like 3-4 years ago i think lmao maybe new readers are justified, but people up to date should not feel this way, unless they have no life and think about this manga 24/7

also i strongly disagree with the thinking that "story hasnt progressed" in 3 chapters we've had a REALLY massive death, the ultimate consequences of "domination" (and with it, a new type of enemy) and a new major technique (shrines) which can/will change a lot of fights going forward


i just think people are blowing this "rape demon" out of proportion, like they just wait for this manga to do something slightly offensive to critique it, yeah, rape is bad 100%, we all adults get that
but this guy is a schmuck, he's gonna die in 2 chapters, its not worth it to take it so seriously

Wow some people are coping hard from what I see in the comments. There's no way Sunao is going to win... Oriobana ends up dead, since last chapter they have literally emphasised how much of a rapist this thing is, they made him power up by smelling Sunao and now he powered up further into manifesting abilities from other manga (domain expansion)... Sunao is getting raped... That's unfortunately the premonition of this and author gave us 2 chapters and probably including next one, 3 chapters warning that he's about to get Sunao raped for the sake of drama and Kazuya getting stronger or whatever (enraged with Sunao's rape, he probably will destroy this thing in two shots).

I fucking hate this, but let's just be realistic.

And clearly it always gone ecchier. This manga will never turn "serious". If people cannot handle it they should drop it.
Seriously... is not the first time. Plenty of heavy fanservice, hard ecchi manga received this treatement. Why people expect these mangas to discard their main selling points (ecchi and fanservice) and switch genre?
Even with freaking to love-ru the comment section was like this. "The manga now should drop the ecchi, Rito should get super powers, and do battles against male villains" WTF why?
This is literally like reading a sport manga about football, see the characters playing football, and commenting: I just slumped my shoulders with a sigh, shook my head a bit and went: "This again?"

Some of you guy don't understand the meaning of TONE. Funny echhi fan service is not the same as RAPE Man coming to fuck you. People don't like seeing Rape, its not hard. Yes, is a football manga!

Soccer mangas tend to go like that when its about tournaments and events.
But even those have 'lulls' in form of character development, slice of life situations and school to balance it out - Sometimes separated from the main theme, which is welcome change. Can't be about soccer all the time, even the characters have a life to go on.

And I miss that within Tsugumomo, since that was present until some point.
