I got used to this story using bloated numbers on the purchase value of items that 2000 XP sounds a tad too little for the difficulty they just faced. Then again, I forgot how much XP they usually get.

so why was there a need for the ice pillar to begin with. and how did Luce know the attack would destroy the pillar. and the ice girl made the perfect platform at the correct position. dunno, i expected something else to finish the fight, instead of this kind of finish. but i guess with that, we have finished the battle.

This is also the first time they've been a party of 4 instead of a party of 2, so the XP would be halved compared to normal (and some games are even more punishing than that, having an XP penalty for larger party sizes).
