This is so dumb. Daru could've blurted everything out. Scream that he doesn't like her and all that he was doing is helping her. "Calm down for once"? How can you expect Est to calm down after all he has been through?
Also, Athena is weak? Both her and Est? The party is being carried by the magician and Daru. What's with all the praises and then getting defeated right after? You have a buffer like Est and you let your guard down and allowed him to be attacked. Bruh. Why blame it all on Est's weakness? Why not try to improve with him so they'll be strong enough to defend Est while gaining buffs and Est can grow stronger to be able to avoid attacks and all that.
The idea is so dumb. You have a guy with buffing skills who does all the administrative work. Then you push him away. I think Athena also got her EGO boosted beyond her abilities from the praises so she thought she's already strong enough without Est. How did the party think, "oh Est got hurt he's a burden now" even though he's carrying a lot for the party? He'll die if he's with us? Yeah, right. He got hurt while he was with you. The vanguard let him get hurt even though he's supposed to be a buffer in the backline? Entering the advanced Labyrinth without being up to par with the difficulty and blaming the one who got hurt because of the lack of foresight.
To those trash talking Est for his reaction, how can you not imagine being betrayed by your friends and being called useless? He tries to become stronger by goin in a cave alone, almost dies, gets stronger and thinks he can convince them to take him back, and then sees that scene. He doesn't even see Athena is unconscious and drunk and then Daru says nothing about it and blames Est for acting out. Like bro. How can you just say all the blame is on him?
Geez. It's been a long time since I got irritated by a fictional story.
