Yes, ratings are subjective. Most readers think the story is bad thus rated it low. You are the one that saying that everyone is stupid because they don't understand the story. Check yourself.
I'm saying people are misunderstanding the story from "NTR" to not getting the premise of the POV it focuses on and shift of MC from the usual cliche, NOT that everyone else is stupid. Don't project what YOU think onto me.
Could it be that you have problems understanding the English language?
Making personal attacks show your inability to have a logical argument without bringing in your own emotions.
Pointing out that the story has NTR vibes has nothing to do with wishing harm to the author. The comments wishing harm were clearly the minority. But you seem the be as selective at reading comments as you are with reading the story.
I'm not the one pointing out the "NTR" vibes, the comments are. The point is I DON'T feel any NTR vibes from this. And yet you're going off of me being "selective" with comments while it seems you didn't even read the manga and I needed to show many many examples to counter claim your claims multiple times in previous comments.
Yeah, because in other power fantasies the MC is always in every chapter. I just mentioned what what in my opinion could have made the story enjoyable for more people than you.
I never said the story is 10/10 perfect. I never disagreed with you on how the story COULD be better. You seem to think I'm arguing against you on that, when I'm not. The entire point was to show how most people glazed over the 1st few chapters and didn't once sit and think about what was actually written.

Trying to make the victim in the story the bad guy is bad writing in my opinion.
Yes. That's your opinion. I disagree. Nothing more to say here.
Do you like to live in your bubble. If people react to my posts I go to the thread and read what's new and answer to new posts. It's called socialising (btw. I don't become aggressive if people if people don't share my opinion, which is subjective).
Where are you picking up aggression? Where have I once made personal attacks against you where as you've attacked my reading ability in English?
How did you come to this conclusion? Being over-dramatic and looking gloomy after you've been treated badly doesn't make you a bad person (more the people that got you to this point). It's not self inserting, it's empathy-
"Being over dramatic and gloomy" My guy, he literally publicly embarrassed them in the guild and had a whole inner monologue on how he felt. An "over-reaction" to a situation doesn't justify either side.
I always say that it's my opinion. You keep on ranting that all the other people are stupid because your interpretation is the only right one.
I never once said anyone else's interpretation is stupid. It's misguided at most. You are sorely losing this argument here by putting words in my mouth I never even uttered.
At this point, I don't think it doesn't make any sense to discuss with you any further because we're going in circles, because you keep misunderstanding my comments and I have to repeat everything again and again and again. Furthermore, you become more and more aggressive with every comment (actually you should understand Est pretty well), which is a clear sign to stop at this point.
Congratulations, you are a master of gaslighting and deflection. We can ask every other commenter here if they felt if our responses was ever "aggresive". I can also say you are misunderstanding MY comment and I'm needing to repeat myself over as well. There is no "winning" here.

It's okay to have differentiating opinions, relax. I made my point, you made yours, move on. Since the manga finished, I will not be coming back here to waste words on a deaf wall.

So he didn't help the weakest person on the party who was the support and so they kicked him out.
Then the female lead became the weakest and suddenly Daru starts teaching her how to get stronger.
??? Is he not still part of the party? They will DIE if they stay weak.... would you not logically try to make your weakest link stronger???????? Is this not common sense anymore?
Starts having feelings for her while she is drunk( she is 15) while before that he was acting as if he wanted to help the childhood friends get together.
Daru had 1 scene of "damn she pretty" and was immediately like "alright let me stop, she only 15".
But you probably didn't read it that way huh? Self inserting as Est really does that to you.
He tried from the start to kick the boy the female lead liked and to bag her because she looks like the girl he liked but couldn't save because he was WEAK.
Read the 1st chapter over. Bro literally said "ayo that was kinda harsh... idk if we should've.."
Actually read.
This had a lot of potential but to end with the old man cucking the male lead and bagging the 15 year old shouldn't ever be considered good.

Overall NTR story with pedophilia and harem tags is the only way this story can be described.
Congratulations, you read 10 pages and came to a conclusion that was pulled from so deep within your ass that even God can't shine light on.

That comment you wrote was enforcing YOUR expectations on what you think the author should be "capable" of writing.
Thank you for affirming what everyone else is saying: This author is incapable of writing a story that isn't shit.

Also, you've contradicted yourself multiple times to the point it becomes a chore deciphering your poasts.

This series is rated poorly and shat on for a reason. For the record, I enjoy some good NTR stuff. This story came across almost like a lecture with how Est got berated after he was wronged.

This story is just ass, and also Daru is a literal groomer, so if the author makes that kind of person as the MC and tries so hard to pretend we should see Daru that way... maybe we need to bring back the kempei and have them make a house call as I think the author's devices might have some things on them that require some "behavioral correction." :kek:

The author overcooked.
The author overcooked. 1 - Deru and Elf are super strong yet they hid their skills, meaning that Est almost died in the first chapter and no one cared. Deru is super strong because he is the MC that we are supossed to see ourselves as, meaning that he his an excelent teacher, father/brother figure yet the girls also had crush on him, making many of his interactions see as an Older and Stronger adventurer pretending to be weak only to take advantage of the party and become the leader.
2 - The Author didn't plan or didn't know how to write. Deru was against kicking Est out, showing his experience and being a guide, yet after chapter 2 he only acts as a guide for the party and literally paints Est as a villain for being rightfully offended. Many problems on the story hadn't consequences, most of it was Est saying 'Yeah, my bad, you guys are perfect and I was a cry baby that needed to grow up.', this is the solution for all conflicts, Est taking the role as the wrong party.
3- Deru is a overpower MC and has a harem. Yeah, we all know that it would happen. Dragon girl is pretty much clingy on Deru, Elf started respecting and liking Deru and the FMC has a clear crush on Deru, going on dates with him, literally stopping her training and avoiding Est to focus on Deru, like, almost all interactions in the Manga is one of the girls with Deru.
4 - No one from the party learned anything. Yes, they grew up and mature, but they never solved their mistake, Est had to be the bigger person while taking all the blame, which is sick. Deru and Elf almost let Est die at the start because they were selfish and had their own goals, Est proved to not only be a good support, but also good at everything, even positioning and estrategy as we see that the party even had problems in DRINKING POTIONS without Est.
5 - Hypocrisy, this is the name of the game. FMC played the role of tragic heroine and Deru as her guardian, yet no one tried to solve their problem with Est. Think about it, if it wasn't for Est confronting the party in the few times that they met, they would never talk about the issue. The fact that the party hired the dragon girl and decided to try reforming her instead of talking with Est shows that they never cared about him.
6 - Being an adventurer is a job. Est and FMC created the party together and turned it into a famous group only to kick out Est when he "wasn't needed anymore". Est has every right to be mad since not only he lost respect, money and already had rumors about him being useless, but he also had to start from the start since he was "fired" without warning. When Est confronts his former party, he has every right to mock them as he had to deal with bad reputation and being without resource.
7 - They treated Est as the antagonist while trying its best to show the party as heroes. No, the party SHOULD be seen as dumb idiots and selfish, even if they had good intentions it doesn't solve that they made a mess. The reason why many are rightfully mad is that when the Party suffers from karma, is treated as wrong and that they are innocent victims that shouldn't be suffering while trying to paint Est as some spoiled boy that never liked the party and never loved the FMC. The party should have suffered and slowly realized how much they messed up, not only speak about it, but learn and grow. The fact that they couldn't take Est rant shows that they never learned. In a good story, Est would have ranted, Deru would go protective mode and FMC would step foward, cutting Deru and speak with Est, agreeing with Est and telling him that Est was right or something similar, giving Est the first sign that he may have been blowing things out of propotion and slowly Est and FMC could solve their issues, with the story pointing out that Deru only causing more damage by intruding at the fight only to protect FMC and berate Est as he shows clear favoritism towards girls in the story and the FMC.
8 - Deru soloing the demon is terrible, throw away all the "Lessons" and end up as another power fantasy, I really hated how the party was mad that Est also gained fame for defeating the Demon despite the fact that, 1 - Est party is clearly stronger than them and working together they had a change to defeat the Demon, 2 - Est is the reason why Stardust is alive as Deru wouldn't be able to fight while protecting the party.
The sad part is that the story could be better if the Author took more time writting or just had a friend to beta-read. It isn't hared, just make the party suffer for their consequences without trying to paint that it is "unfair", make Deru more like a father-role instead of Old Hot Guy, Deru should have berated the girls with the same harshness that he had with Est, instead it is clear that Deru has either favoritism or he did everything out of malice.

It really was a self insert. I'm convinced the author immersed himself as Daru or you wouldn't have had Est treated so shitty.

The notion that you'd have him cozy up to Est's childhood friend, gaslit and groomed by Daru who lusts after her for looking like his dead former party member, and convinces her to kick him out of the party when he had the ability to be a mentor/big bro to him instead.

But nope he traumatized him even more and then goes on a romantic date with said 15 year old. Motive far too transparent. It fails the vibe check with a lot of people, (even me who actually will dabble in some NTR one in a while) for a reason.

The story truly is hot garbage. The ending even making it so obvious its an author self-insert that I almost wonder if Daru is the author's username in an mmo he played and that the story was his fantasy of what he would enjoy if he isekai'd.

It becomes really cringey if you think about it all. Idk how I can reassess it higher. It deserves the ratings it gets. This belonged unread on pixiv or some other jp writing site with 3 views (the author reading it on his pc, phone and on wifi at starbucks), not given a manga.

Lame ass ending. I won't be so kind like Est to just forgive them like that after all the bullshit he experienced after being banished. His reputation spiraled down to the bottom after getting kicked out. It will take more than "I kicked you out for your own sake" reason to forgive them.

It's obvious that Daru is the author's self-insert.

This reminds me of the new manga here, but it's on the banished side. The leader of the party, who's also a blonde swordswoman, decided to kick the MC out because she didn't want him to get hurt due to his "useless" skill. He didn't hate her at first and understood that he was too weak so he accepted it. A month later, they met again, the MC is submitting herbs, while the girl and the party are on their way out, she gave him a tip of a good place to harvest great herbs. The MC thought that she's still looking out for him that's why he didn't hate her, but that place was the bathing place of a black dragon and he almost died only to awaken to his power and killed the dragon in one hit. The girl learned of the dragon after the guildmaster told them about it. The MC started harboring massive hatred against the girl and her party and swore at them after he brought the head of the dragon to the guild.

Yeah, that was a truly abysmal mess of a patchwork story. The writer needs to be flipping burgers and not cherry picking ideas from other stories and mushing them all together.

After months without looking at this shit I finally went though the last volume. (and created an account just to vent the frustration away)
What a shit and bad written story.
I mean, it is power fantasy that mc takes power from his ass and everyone praises him so I wasn't expecting a good story.
I get all the hate on the party who just start to acknowledge the exiled guy by the middle through the end, and do it with hostility (also I get all the hate for mc who sees all this bullshit and doesn't try to calm the situation or make the party see the side of the exiled guy).
The only save grace of the manga imho is that the mc didn't explicitly get a haren by the end (at least he wasn't having sex with the girls).
And yes, the mc is clearly the villain of a NTR story:
-Makes the mind of the other members to not help the support of the team (a support that can't fight properly)
-Holds back and makes things more difficult so that the leader of the team see that the support guy may be a hindrance to them or that he could get injured
(the elf mage was also holding back, and we could imagine that she also wanted a similar outcome)
-Is ok with them expelling the guy in the worse way possible (he basicaly was unable to enter other parties because of his reputation being stain). More over didn't gave a shit about the exiled guy who not only lost his friend but also the people he cared about and it was clear that the exiled wouldn't accept being called weak it was easy to imagine him trying to become stronger, mc could have trained him but nah, let him find his strength alone (you know, let the guy who can't fight alone find his strenght alone, maybe he dies in a ditch somewhere or in a dungeon)
-Groomers over the rest of the party, specially on the underaged girl who looks like his lover who died 5(?) years ago
-Never tries to actually help the party to see the side of the exiled guy
-Actually give more power to the party members who were saying bad thing from the exiled guy

Honestly I think the mangaka did a great job in the end, not only he didn't made it a true haren but also made the ex-party be in ok terms with the exiled guy.
Lots of inconsistencies in the story specially regards character development (have the autor ever talked with irl people? or had long term friendship/relationship?)
All in all this was a bad read, I give it 3 because bellow I think would be unfair with the mangaka (who did an ok art) and higher would be unfair to actually "not so bad" stories.
