The numbers the author picked are kind of weird. Like she makes ¥500k a month and has enough power to just get him fired but 500k is only $5k usd which is $60k a year. That's not a lot of money, a single person can live off of it especially in a non expensive area but it's not the kind of money you could just flex. If this story took place in the bay area or nyc she would be considered poor.

She got the mc fired to be her servant, you'd assume she's making a lot of money if she has that kind of pull. $60k after taxes is more like $75k in America, I have no idea what the Japanese tax rate is but I assume it's not that different. Google suggests the median income in Japan is like ¥4 mil so her salary before tax which I'm gonna guess as like ¥7.5 mil definitely puts her higher than average and probably upper middle class as a single adult but it's not fuck you money like the author suggests.
