LN Source: I've been reading the official English LN. And I have a few impressions from them:
1. Hibiki is clearly more problematic from the start. In the manga and the anime she's presented pretty benevolently. She's only a little cocksure due to her past life of "no effort success". Vs. the LN there's a flavor of "arrogance of nobility" from the start. Also LN clearly states that she's been given a "Charisma" ability. Manga Hibiki has humility and guilt in failure; I don't think that LN Hibiki does (or at least not much).
2. If feels like the author is familiar with overly aggressive, borderline criminal business behavior from the start -- and takes it as the expected norm. Like she grew up in and worked in such an environment and views it as normal business.

With that in mind, it seems like the manga reduces the ruthlessness somewhat (e.g. with Hibiki) and the anime reduces it much more (by removing Rembrandt's backstory).

Rembrandt hasn't changed AFAICT -- rather he just doesn't need to be as criminally ruthless as he was in the past -- and instead is just "normally" business ruthless. (Well actually, he's still borderline criminally ruthless.)

So, I don't think that he's on any redemption arc, nor does he see any need to be on one. The only reason he treats Makoto well is that Makoto saved his beloved wife and daughters.

Aside from the author's personal views, there's a general difference in Japanese ethos. Western ethos is very much "responsibility/culpability for one's choices" and, very closely related to that, a strong sense of justice. Vs. Japanese seems to have much less personal responsibility, and a seeming cluelessness about what (western) justice is.
SORE ARU!

How dare she ask anything from Lime. All of it was from Rembrandt & co evildoings. Lime involved because the magician lies. And did she thinks afterall their family sins nobody will get revenges?

The author took Rembrandt's past too light. It's the magician's fault to involved Lime. But it was Rembrandt's fault they got attacked by the magician. Afterall, tge magician's lover whole family died because of Rembrandt & co.

😠😠😠
how dare she? from what the memories and the WN that I remember Lisa doesn't know the shit he pulled in Tsilge. So from her perspective she is correct in what she say specially as a mother and that the curse only answer they got was having them be killed before Makoto saved the day.

also who is the person that is going to appear next chapter 🤔🤔??

Smol but deadly Komoe, is the best moe.
Too bad for those kidnappers - to die suddenly and turned into powdered ice crystals (i.e. existence and death will no longer be known) only because of a grudge/envy is probably even worse than an IRL streamer who gets banned by a country for being an obnoxious character.

What are you talking about, a lot of things keep happening
like what?, for like 20+ chapters now it has almost only been people talking to each other in the same room and when there is "conflict" it is resolved in the same chapter or on the very start of the next one, like this one. (srsly, you can count with one hand the times a fight, that isn't training, has happened in the last 20+ chapters...)

I'm a little curious what the end goal of the kidnapping plot was. I was a bit shocked at how quickly it was resolved though. I thought there would be at least another chapter.

Dug a bit on who decided to kidnap Rinon but even there, it was vague on who called for it since Komoe dispatched them before any other questions. But seems like it is connected to her debts and the people who "tested" drugs on her (it is kinda debated whether she was used for testing drugs or was practically a forced prostitute by some fantasy pimp). Makoto never really dealt with it to be honest and after solidifying that Toa's party just gonna be a consistent side characters, it never delved too much into it. The kidnappers were out for Toa, they didn't care for Rinon (even stated in the WN to chop her up but was stopped because they wanted their boss to decide).
This is just my take though since after this, it doesn't get brought up again in a direct manner.

I actually forgot that Makoto hasn't met Lisa at this point. The anime really were different. MC didn't even go back to Tsige.

I'm really glad Rinon got saved quite fast. Komoe stronk lol.
Really wonder what exactly the kidnappers goal is.

Also, I wonder what the Tsige people know about Komoe. Like Tomoe's kid? Sister? Surely not clone.

Komoe is defo best daughter.
Shame Lisa is actually a massive bitch, same as rembrant. Feels like the author just kinda wants us to forget the backstory for them after making it so grim
I think the contrast of their before and after is great. Just to show that Makoto can influence people for the better.

What's a "Rizou Motif"? I assume that she's referring to the two faced dragon symbol.
I believe "Rizou" (or "Rizur") is the name for those two-headed dog monsters in the wastelands. Makoto jump-kicked one to death when he saved Ema in chapter 2.

Komoe best daughter.
Is Lisa going to ship Lime with one of her daughters? Don´t think so, but who knows.
Despite how thirsty both daugthers are for Kuzunoha, I'm sure neither of them will end up with him (I suppose only Mio and Tomoe will have that honor)

Wait! Is that it? That's for the whole kidnapping hijink? Man, wish they give us more meat on that.

On side note, it's been fun so far but does anybody know when Makoto gonna terraforming again? It's been a loooong time since he made that lakes and it never being mentioned again.
