I myself find this series to be good, definitely one of the top WNs on my list, even more so after the female hero knew of his power and she and MC clashing opinion about the bitch goddess' actions on demon kin. The female hero who only lived her life on the "superior" side blindly sided with the goddess just because she is the god of this world thus she deemed her as absolute, and the MC who only lived his life on the "inferior" side going against the goddess after his experience with her; knowing how demon kin unjustly oppressed by her just because she saw them as ugly creatures; and because she objectively is a bitch, will never see eye to eye. It's simple but by how the author goes it's exciting, too bad the WN still on hiatus.

Actually, I think he uses the rings to make up for the difference in strength between him and the Lich (shiki)when he makes him a subordinate (as he was so pitifully weaker than Makoto compared to Tomoe and Mio. He had to use 7 rings (power of 7 ho!) in total, and Shiki later learns how to utilize those rings to literally edit his stats and change "jobs" on the fly. Judging by the RAWS the manga glosses over the process though

I don’t really understand why he finds the tree spell so horrible. If the victim losses their sense of self overtime, it’s basically just a permanent coma and it’s said to be a lost art, so it’s not like all the ogres will start turning people into trees.
That being said I also don’t understand why so many readers think this mc or many others have to screw their female friends and subordinates all the time either.

@Majin101 its the fact that once youre a tree you basically become a living statue thats fully aware of whats going on around you while feeling everything. until your concouse fades, which we have no idea how long that takes, every secound of every day will end up the worst torture imaginable.and the ogres were using it like it was the only thing they could do. personally i would erase that spell from exsistance.

woah I read the raws for 41 and 42 cuz people were talking about spoiler stuff and wew, I'm looking forward to the translations. Nothing unprecedented but it does give a 'at last' feeling. Also, people talking about dumb beta shit don't know a proper mc when they see one. Not saying he's an amazing mc but as far as isekai mc go, he's deffo one of the better ones and the story is very entertaining to follow. if you want to see a dude fuck every girl he comes across just go read hentai.
