Man, why do you keep cutting to the other hero's just to repeatedly show how boring and uninteresting to see they are compared to Makoto?
Been a while since I read this novel. Well... It was also paused during quite a long time but apparently the author is back and is working once again on Tsuki ga Michibiku.
Anyway, I will try to sum up this chapter:
The two heroes are attacking this fortress during night even if it worsens their chance (stupid hero n°1 forces them to do it as he's immortal as long as it's nightime). As long as they don't destroy it, they can't advance and attack the demonkind's territory. The humans created by the Goddess don't really understand how strategy works (because "as long as the Goddess gives them her benediction, they're more powerful than demons!") so they launched basically all their forces in this battle. They managed to reach the fortress but it was just a trap and most of their forces are destroyed.
And now some spoilers concerning this battle:
First, the demons will use a special item that render all the Goddess powers useless in an area. Due to that, stupid hero n°1 will run away as his immortality is now "offline". Hero n°2 will have to fight the second Demon General with only her group... and because this demon is very powerful, they will lose. Her friend (the darkskinned lady) will stay behind to give them enough time to run away.
During that time... Well... Remember that I say that they launched all their forces in this battle? Well... Demons also know this and one of their army is now marching towards one of their capital. This army also has the support of the strongest adventurer of this world (Sofia) + a dragon ( so basically the capital is f*****. Even the Goddess knows this so, to stop that, she will forcely teleport MC in the battle and make them think that he's one of her pawn. Sofia + dragon will try to kill MC but will simply manage to cut off one of his finger (don't worry: Shiki will heal that). MC wants to return to Asora as this problem doesn't really concern him but can't open a portal. Moreover they won't even listen to his explanations. They both believe that his strengh/his defense are so high due to the Goddess benediction so they also use an item to try to remove it... Because they're unwilling to listen to him and won't let him go, MC is getting pissed and start blowing everything away. Those attacks make Sofia&dragon really surprised because "HEY! IT WASN'T JUST A BENEDICTION?!". However Sofia still manages to get behind MC and to hug him. Oh. And she's also pretty much naked at this point due to MC's attacks. Then she teleports herself+MC in the sky, seals MC's air attribute (joke: he don't have it!) and teleports herself back to the ground. The plan "Make this monster fall to his death" give MC enough time to open a portal to Asora... but before teleporting himself, he prepares a gift for Sofia and the dragon: Some of his rings. Remember that those little things can explode? Well... MC overcharged them with his magic and go back to Asora. On the ground, Sofia+dragon senses the attack and prepares a powerful barrier. The demon army also tries to do the same. And... BOOOOOOM. All dead. Except Sofia+dragon who manage to barely survive the nuke. Oh. And this nuke manages to create a lake.
Conclusion of this battle: Most human forces: Destroyed. One demon army: Destroyed. Fortress: Intact but now has a nice lake in front of it. Demon Generals: Alive. Sofia+Dragon: Alive. Heroes: Alive. MC: Alive and has a new nickname: The "Devil" or if you prefer a "being that is somehow serving the Goddess but who doesn't care about nuking his allies or his foes". Oh. And some demons/humans are now suffering from PTSD after witnessing this nuke

Just to expand on the blessings thing, for battles between humans, the difference between getting blessed or not was so overwhelming that their time was better spent gathering everyone together, preening, and praising the goddess openly. Tactics came into play for the Demon side because they're strong enough as a force to make up for the lower grades of blessings, particularly when the good stuff stopped appearing while bug was lazing around.

So many complaints here. Fillers here are good for expanding the storyline and giving character to the characters themselves.
Or else it will be just another isekai with typical enemies and typical endings.
As much as we hate Tomoki and Hibiki as characters, we must be able to judge their characters based on their motivations and reasonings. Antagonists shouldn't be evil just to be evil.
Edit: Oh and good news for everyone. The author of the WN has finally start updating once again and the translators are also doing a good job getting it out quickly. So hopefully the story can continue until the end after a looooong hiatus.
