I saw this on the new updates and I'm glad I tagged in so early! The premise seems so cute! Thx for picking this up, I'm already excited for more!

The girl grew up during 17 years thinking she was the center of the world and a single remark one day from a random nobody was enough to bring her to a mental breakdown...
No interesting tsundere moments yet as well, I'll give it a few more chapters, but so far, I'm not interested.

I finally have to ask a question to someone well-versed in Japanese culture and language:

Does the word "cute" (可愛い kawaī) encompass more than just looks?

It has always rubbed me the wrong way in every manga I've read when the guy says "you're cute" and that's somehow enough to charm the girl, like it isn't the most surface level compliment that could possibly be given.

I must believe there's some cultural difference here. Where I come from it might be flattering, but if that is the main point of attraction the girl in question would be insulted instead.

Interesting take. Haughty princess wants to reform herself. No isekai or reincarnation BS. She realizes she‘s a bad person and tries to fix that. Worth the shot So far (2 chapters in)

Acute point, and especially for a massively egotistic character imo being only cute would borderline be an insult. At the very least its being cute should be a given for them in their heads.

Cant speak for the Japanese language but expecting realistic relationships out of manga is like expecting a golpher to predict the weather.
