There's no internet though, so it was already pretty obvious at the start that it wasn't. Hell, the only reason I can even read and comment on this manga is because of the internet. Well... that and computers too. And a lot of other advancements through human ingenuity that are too many to list.

But who knows, maybe that world already has the magical equivalent of a transistor. From what is shown, magic stones can be used as fuel and... to make things float?

Based on how the previous saints have been described I can’t say I’m too surprised they are viewed as parasites. They seemed so fragile and delicate with how they were frightened of other races without trying to get to know them for their entire lifetimes or being unable to fly to other territories because they feared heights I think it was... The way they pampered the past saints I’m rather surprised more people don’t think of them as parasites.

I like the novel for this manga because its really different from most of the stories where heroes or saints get summoned. Basically the miasma is something that is produced naturally in one part of the world and it spreads throughout the world over time. The saints have the ability to draw that toxic miasma in and produce magic stones. There isn't really any true evidence of malevolent forces in the story. There is that midland nation that just made trouble for themselves, but that's about all they accomplished. The saints are basically just a couple of walking air-scrubbers that wanna go around and see the world. Its kinda funny calling the saints air scrubbers but that fits pretty darn close to what they are.

Also the novel does a bit better job of world building than the manga so far. This basically feels like a slimmed down version of the story, which actually takes away part of the charm.

Well, it was fun while it lasted. And the girls are still quite wholesome.

Humans are sturdy, adaptable creatures. Sure the ladies will feel homesick and miss their families, but they'll also form new connections and attachments to this world as time passes, and soon, they'll keep it safe just because they care.

"We can't send you into town without proper arrangemnts" yet it's fine if you wear a disguise and be escorted by the prince. I'm at least glad that this stupidity is addressed at least partially in the story (thanks Theresa)
The entire Avian tribe flied to the castle, it was implied that the town is quite near the castle, it was easy to infer that the townpeople saw the avians. They knew the saints arrived (becouse miasma disappeared). They could imagine that the avians could spread the words about the saints being two.

Also why they need "proper arragnments" if they want to go to a town near the castle? Considering that after a month they would be sent to other territories? Are the humans commoners the only that can't see the Saints in an informal settings?
No "For Security" isn't a valid answer. If you care about their security, then assign an guide like the prince (that I supposed know how to fight), and a couple of guards, and remeber that also Mika know how to throw some punches around (she hitted the Avian in the previous chapter). This seems unwanted "sacralization" of two people.
Do you want to make seems that this stuffs is sensed? Contextualize it better. Becouse as for now, it hasn't and was used as a comic relief with the inn lady

@Twi Actually, in most isekai stories its a teenager that gets summoned, right??? Pretty young at that, too. I think its a bit harsh to judge kids being in that situation. If I were like 15 and suddenly got isekaied, realised I'd never see my family again, and have no idea who everyone else was plus seeing dog ears and what not, I think I'd freak.

@Twi Idk, having your world view be broken at that age.. well. Maybe they started thinking they're insane. Forget freaking, I'd straight up think I was in a dream/coma, and maybe if I really died in it I would irl, and thus wont take any chances.

One would say that being a kid might make it easier to accept, but suddenly losing everything like that comes with the loss of security. What if they were lying to you? I'd start with being paranoid tbh. If im not insane, that I'd have been essentially kidnapped... who knows if what they're saying is real, its not like they dont have the means to make me think whats on my head isnt some freaky magic stuff made to brainwash me. xD

Basically lots of mental gymmastics would happen, depending on if the kid read stories or not. Worse still if they were in olden times where crime were rampant and slavery was real. Or you know... suddenly seeing things that fly when you've never seen on in the entirety of your village life. Yeah, I'd freak.

Anyway, thats just how im reasoning it-I just think it isnt good to judge something like this and compare it to our two protagonists. :x
