Even if it's framed in a comedic manner for the story (and lets not open up that can of worms here) what does that say about the MC?
people regularly have weird as fuck dreams. I've had dreams where I'm driving a car like a maniac smashing through other cars and being miraculously fine and going ballistic.. does that mean in reality I want to go driving and ram into other cars and kill people(cos that was obviously happening in the dream)? lol no.
I've had dreams of zombie apocalypses and killing other survivors for reasons I can't even remember beyond just vaguely recalling getting into fights with other survivors.. does that mean I want to kill people? lol, no.
Also had a dream where there are loads of purple dinosaurs and I'm just chilling at a table eating weird looking pasta as these dinosaurs wander around me doing weird stuff like, some were walking upside down, others were sat at a table on the wall and they then broke out into some dance number.
I don't recall in any of those dreams really wondering what I was doing/trying to stop what I was doing.. weird dreams just happen dude.
Plus the guy seems like a hormonal teen, dreams are ESPECIALLY weird then.
