Am I the only one who thinks she acted way too dramatic for a single haircut ?
Who tf cries because your bf/gf cut their hair to look better for you ?
It's not the haircut that's the problem. It's the wild gang of gyaru that's pushing him to get the haircut.

I am not used to people being so open about their emotions in manga. Damn, we can solve all our relationship issues by talking??? Whoda thunk?

Next Day:
"Why did we go to city hall?"
"Stop asking questions and sign this paper. No one's taking my man from me."
The path of truly harnessing the "Reiwa Energy" is frightening to most manga writers. What do you mean rom-com's don't have to have impossible chains of misunderstandings for 500 chapters and then end directly after the confession? How can relationships be not a "finish line of ever after" but instead closer to a joint partnership for two humans to work together on? WHAT FOUL SORCERY IS THIS? [Insert Shonen Jump editor shrieking in pain from romantic progress like a vampire recoiling at a cross]

But yes, turns out that humans (teenagers especially), for all our fancy thinkin' brains, are still emotional creatures who jump to conclusions and can't read minds, so talking things over quickly and directly (and with added apology hugs, headpats, and smooches, even in public) can indeed quash problems before they start to fester. :meguu:

That is just a classic controlling and abusive relationship.
Why is there always someone trying to pathologize fictional relationships, specially when they dont show real signs of abuse.

Life is never that cut and dry, its all about degrees, frequency and severity. Not just that but also what the people involved tolerate and find comfortable. Some are just more sensitive and prone to jealousy than others. Which is exactly why both of our characters here TALK IT OUT solve it and reaffirm their affection for each other.

Dating someone is all about mutual exclusivity for each other after all. She doesnt want her man hanging around too many girls its within her right to ask him not to, just as he can ask the same back of her

There's a guy who stopped going to gym under the same logic as in here,
"Actually, don't. Girls will start coming on to you."
I mean it's quite logical, but still surprising to hear, we just want to look good once in a while like our favorite Gundam protagonist.

Also, remind of that one manga where the girl is a hero and hinder her boyfriend growth so he stayed dependent on her.

And their "talking it out" was her saying "you are forbidden from associating with females," making a false equivalence to defend it, and tearing him down to make him less attractive to others. And him going along with it because he has no self worth.

That is not a healthy relationship.

Mutual exclusivity is important, but it needs to happen based on mutual feelings, not because one partner controls the other's life and relationships.

Also, "they dont show real signs of abuse" when she is literally emotionally abusing him. How clueless can you be?
