This particular manga had a meme TL from the beginning, and that's why we love it. The translator is a big part of why this comic is fun to read. If he had made a joke about Trump or something like that, no one would have cared, but Transformers? "Ew gross stop putting politics in my porn manga!!11", that's where we draw the line. Not because it's political, but because your views don't align.

No, I draw the line the moment the translation isn't translating what's supposed to meant in the original source material, be it Trump or trans or wrong pronounce or whatsoever bullshit reason that you can come up with.

If the text is saying the character says xyz, then translate it as xyz, not abc. Why even bother doing translating work if it doesn't translate the meaning?

Edit: I believe I've also voiced my discontent with the meme edit in very first few chapters. If I'm not wrong it was those skruuuuut cumming sound meme in Indonesian language. I find it funny, but I still advocated against it. Why? Because it's not the right translation. As simple as that.

chapter 21 is just a joke and mockery to all involved, MD mods have given me a leeway to do TL jokes since ch.1, and of course a lot of users don't like these kind of TL jokes because for them it's against the rules and ethics, of course I was ready to accept punishment before uploading ch21, the mods thought I had gone too far and had given me a ban warning not to go too far with my jokes, and I agreed to it, because after all rules are rules, what can i say, I'm just a user using this platform for my benefit afterall.

And don’t you think you’d be a bit sensitive about it if your country was literally trying to legislate away the existence of people who like big boobs and butts?

The Koolio chapter in question wasn't removed because this chapter and another one done by Rapeman are the ones that got the politics rule added in the first place. We don't apply our rules retroactively for the benefit of being fair to scanlators. But politics is problematic because there's no reason it should be inserted randomly into a manga in the first place if the manga has nothing to do with it.

Koolio stopped scanlating after the rule was made because he stated that chapters were just his political soapbox. Rapeman also stopped for fairly similar reasons, although claimed he was banned.

'peer reviewed and published writing' lol you might want to look up James Lindsay, Helen Pluckrose, and Peter Boghossian. they got seven articles peer reviewed and 2 published prior to going public about them writing their articles using almost exclusively leftist jargon and avoiding ever making a clear point
