I see. Fair point. I guess I just didn’t see the kind of passion for romance on her, I suppose. From my perspective she doesn’t look like the type to actually make those feelings serious, but we’ll see what happens when she takes a step forward.

I think it's clear Todou sees it as different, because she does feel something for Kurohime. If there was nothing there (like there's nothing there with Ruruka) she wouldn't give it a second thought.

as itsumi says in this chapter, ruruka wants to have casual, no strings attached sex with her and kurohime wants to have a serious romantic relationship with her. one makes future interactions much more awkward after you turn it down than the other, let's be real.

Ruruka might be scummy but thats kinda why her and Toudou are friends. Was nice to see a really good friendmoment, Ruruka's pervness aside.

Also while it sucks to turn someone you care about down and want to still remain friends I like how Toudou made it clear she didnt want to be without Rin and realized Rin wouldnt be down with poly.

Anyone thinking her and Rin arent going to continue to be end game hopefully got a little reminder of how much they like each other/how more serious they are compared to any other ship.

Not necessarily. I read it as she didn't know if Rin would be ok with it or not, but was also worried about what would happen if she asked and it pissed Rin off. So in a way, she has the same worry about asking Rin's thoughts that she with how she should answer the main question

Makes me look forward to the revelation and confrontation moment of the two, if Rin hadn't already known about it seeing the way Kurohime treated Itsumi in the dodgeball match.
