So guys, here’s my regularly scheduled sanity check. Not for you of course but for myself. Did anyone else find this chapter easier to read without instinctually backtracking pages than the last chapter? Because I did. And it makes ZERO FUCKIN’ SENSE. Why does the character with the most potential to turn this from “scum girl gettin it on” into “scum girl gettin locked up in a basement for the rest of her mortal life” end up being easier to read than the objectively safer premise of the last one!?
