i think its Toudou love story is done now just relationship development. As for the other, now former love interest, I think/hope the author may be leaning into all of them getting their own relationships. Especially seeing as how its very obvious prez and Kouno are into each other.

So awesome that the rest of the classmates are going to get some screen time! I’ve always liked Ouo and Saou, Iwagaki’s two minions and background girls. And Iwagaki looked so good dolled-up in her China dress! And we even got a major scene with Rin at the end. I’m still cheering for Itsumi+Rin so it was great seeing how far their relationship has progressed. All-in-all, a great chapter to kick off what looks like a super fun arc. Thanks again to the translation team!
