-Thofheinz- I was joking tough, i don't think the authors would do something like hinting a new season.
If Watamote do get a new anime, it'll probably be a reboot since the first one is so old now, it wouldn't make sense to continue where it left off (not to mention other problems like the general design and the atmoshpere of the original anime is now outdated, and hardly compatible with modern Watamote).
But the anime team would probably like to jump to "modern Watamote" (which, if you ask the fandom, start a chapter 69) but you can't really jump to modern watamote without reading most of the old chapters i think, and i suppose they have to do it in 12 episode too (most anime these days rarely goes beyond 12 or 13).
Anyway, adapting the current Watamote into an anime is going to be a pain in the ass for sure.
