Literally. Renako used to be an honestly cool, cute and interesting protagonist that I was rooting on super hard on to grow and develop. Now she's gotten so flanderized that she's indistinguishable from a basic run-of-the-mill horny loser ML from any garbage het harem series. She annoys me so much that I can't even bring myself to ship her with anyone anymore, Mai would honestly be a better fit for Ajisai.

Also love that Renako sees both prospective girlfriends have fun together without her and just goes "well this is nice too" poly chad even if she doesn't know it yet.

Because Mai doesn't respect Renako's choices and will manipulate her in the worst way possible to make Renako obey her will (Mai date hunting arc, prolly the worst event in the manga thus far). Renako is spineless because she doesn't want any of this, she just want a normal high school life, normal friends and normal relationships. She's doing her best to fit in and Mai is there to ruin her every avenue. Renako doesn't love Mai, but Mai keeps forcing herself onto Renako. It's a normal reaction not to pursue love with Mai because she doesn't love Mai in the first place, and she's rightfully scared. Mai is already on record prepared to manipulate and guilt trip the living shit out of Renako.

But in this arc, there's a natural progression on her relationship with Ajisai, since it was Renako who initiated all of it. She pursued Ajisai out of her own will, she wants to be near Ajisai, and there was almost character development there. But Mai just had to go and ruin everything.
