I came expecting a goofy, silly comedy that would put more emphases on a punchline than anything else. What I got were surprisingly grounded feelings and a serious take on people trying to change themselves.

it meandered a bit, and probably could have been about 75% as long and gotten the same effect it was going for but with a bit of a better pacing, but i quite enjoyed this, particularly this final chapter. i really like the message of "your love doesn't have to feel the same as mine, as long as you love me in your own way that's all that matters."
