Enjoying the sweet and slow direction this is going. A pretty nice story so far, I like the character dynamics and vibes.

I appreciate it's world-building and themes of self-reflection to find purpose and meaning in living your life. The art is also good in my opinion but that's just subjective. The thing is though, I feel like there's just too many things wrong with the story.

There's honestly just too many characters. I'm having a hard time trying to keep up with all of them, and I can't really decide if they're going to be important to the story or just another extra. Like who am I supposed to be attached to? All of them? None of them? A lot of them are introduced as someone important but the next thing you know they're just gone. It's possibly just because they're going to come back at some point but who knows when that's happening. I might have already forgotten about them by the time they came back.

The conflicts are just... too unmemorable to me as well. That time with the Tyrant Oar, that time with Sara and the duel, it doesn't feel like there's any tension. I will give credit to when they fought with the bandits though, it actually had some kind of meaning.

I would not recommend it personally but I would still give it a try. Maybe it would have gotten better in the future after I posted this.

I really like this story. It doesnt end up sexualizing or fetishising the genderswap and you also dont end up with the usual heteronormativity. My only criticism is that this story ends up getting my hopes up that I will find more good genderswap stories like this only to be met with a mountain of slop

I get that sometimes people are tired of waiting for releases, and get to do it themselves, often time via machine translations, but the "no group" that translated chapters 27 and 28 need to be tried for crimes against literacy.
It's so bad it makes the reading experience worse. I'd rather just wait for the competent people to do it.

the translation for chapters 27 and 28 is... Notably Atrocious, not the worst I have seen, but that is damning with faint praise.

I'm with DEXdimon here. I reached the first chapter they did and couldn't even stand to finish it.

I don't know what the rules are for linking to other sites, but I went and found the light novels and have been reading those ever since finding this manga here.

I've also ordered both of the physical releases of the light novels that are out so far, because I've enjoyed them enough to want to own them and to support the author. And I seem to have made the author's day by letting him know this.

I enjoy it quite a bit. It's probably that I see a lot of myself in the main character of one of these for once and it's a fun read seeing how he (or she) would handle things in this new world. I'm sure to many people, it's just a boiler plate isekai, but I love how much more focused it is on the characters thoughts and motivations and their insecurities and interactions with one another and not all just action for action's sake (but it has some of that, too).
You know, while the world seems boilerplate, there's a fair bit of thought put into it. Like how the different races have different versions of the twin goddess creation myth, there are multiple countries mentioned, and a holy academy. The emphasis on character relationships and growth. An adopted beastman-dwarf, never thought I'd see that in an isekai. And still, consistently, MC thinks about his former life.

Honestly I'm quite impressed. This is one of the best isekai I've ever seen.
