It definitely makes the water around Yo and Yui's relationship a bit murkier. Perhaps she sleeps with Yo as a way of vicariously sleeping with Kei, since Yo was, in her eyes, always sort of between her and Kei?

It may just be that since she can't have Kei, she will take Yo. She couldn't care less about what Yo wants, she just wants to play with his sexuality so that he can't be with Kei. I think it's been suggested enough that the relationship between Yo and Kei, if it bloomed, could be a safe and happy one. But Yui doesn't want that for Kei (or maybe for Yo?)

The imagery of Yo being mutilated after Mitani says "If i was a boy..." also plays into masculine ideas about violence; that if she was a guy, perhaps she could best Yo in a "masculinity competition" by physically overpowering him, thus allowing her to get to Kei. It makes some sense with what she's doing now, as she sees her only advantage over Kei being her body, which she's using against Yo.

I commented this in an earlier chapter, but I'll say it again.
I'm pretty sure Mitani is a typical girl that's all "If I can't have him, no one can, and he can't have anyone, and I'll make sure that's how it stays by any means necessary. Even if it means tricking someone he's interested in to fall for me, just so I can play with their feelings while keeping them away from him."

TL;DR: "If I can't have Boy Kei, no one can have Kei, and Kei can't have anyone. I'll manipulate and play with the feelings of anyone who shows interest in Kei."

that page of kei unable to look at them made me sad for him, probably a reflection of the author's attempt to portray how his masculinity (yo) had to be "performed" and defiled his feminine side (kei) in order to reinstate either patriarchal system or what's "normal"/gender binary (mitani)

To be fair, kissing Mitani right after she confessing was kinda messed up. As much as I don't like Mitani, and Yo how they are acting. It all goes back to Kei, he was the one who started it.
And I can completely relate to really wanting to make friends with someone you really admire. Then when you are made part of the group you are so happy hoping that they will also see you as their friend. Only for them to not even notice you being right next to them. Always giving you their back and leaving you behind. Then you kinda can't help but realize how superficial your inclusion to the group was. 😭
