So what game(s) are you playing right now?

I was playing Vampire Survivors again for a while ..... until it crashed and wiped my entire save file.

Other than that, I'm trying to finish Ys X Nordics before Dragon Quest 3- 2DHD comes out next week.

It's a pretty fun game so far, but I think it's going to be a while before they're going to make another one at the same level as Lacrimosa of Dana.

I've been hooked on Elin, the prequel to Elona, since release day. It has derailed me playing through Trails Through Daybreak and a bunch of backlogged VNs for the forseeable future.

I'm replaying the TNT : evilution part of Final DOOM, but in ultra-violence difficulty (which i've never done). It's the worst of the original DOOM games, but i really wanted to replay it to witness if it's really that bad. Spoiler : it's not great, but bearable and the ultra-violence difficulty make it better than in my first playtrough.

I also want to play the Revilution wad made by the DOOM community, which is a spiritual succesor of TNT but done better. And that's why i'm playing TNT first, to completly experience Revilution in the best way.

The fan-made content for the original DOOMs is clearly a rabbit hole to fall into. The community is hyper-productive, there is big names in it, the content produced is big in quantity and quality, it's something.

Finished off Dragon Quest 3. I never really put much thought into how depressing the ending of that game actually is.

Nothing else coming out this year that I'm looking forward to, so I guess it's time to start on the backlog, starting with Tomba! Special Edition (it's a pretty great game if you like platformers).

I've been playing Shogun 2 Rise of the Samurai, the expansion dlc of Shogun 2, so far's pretty great.

Here's why I like it:

• Love the old samurai aesthetic, wide-open helmet and shoulder pads are somewhat goofy and beautiful, and horse archer samurai need to appear in medias more often
• Agents have more viable, active gameplay options.
• Naginata levy, the cheap grunts of the dlc, have fragile morale and thus unreliable, which make them great. Improvement from the one in vanilla game.
• Level 1 cities have a more open battlefield with some palisades on a small hill protecting the defender. This keeps castles feeling special, and building it become a heavier choice and love that.

For real, I only play Harvest Moon on console, Warcraft & Joan of Arc on pc, and Harvest Town on mobile, ever tried to see how otome game on mobile but... Meh 😮‍💨 I don't like reverse harem apparently 🤷🏻‍♀️ and wanting to try to play Arknights on mobile but... still thinking about it 🤷🏻‍♀️
