Today, I launched Valkyrie drive Bhikkhuni, and played it 3 hours without any pause. It's quite rare for me to play for that long, the last it happened was for the Blue Reflection games... The game is... mid on nearly every point, but it's fine and agreable to play nonetheless. A few technical difficulties at launch, but now it works, which means I can play this glorious unashamed safe gooner game without any shame !

I knew the franchise before testing it because I've watched the mermaid anime a few years ago, and read the manga adaptations, i'll re-reading them after finishing the game.

Just finished off Trails in the Sky 1st. Now I have the urge to play through all of Cold Steel again, but I just picked up a copy of Final Fantasy Tactics and Dragon Quest 1&2 2D HD comes out in a couple weeks along with Xillia remastered........

Warframe - space rpg shooter ninja simulator with a nice plot and a lot of activities for different tastes. it's free-to-play, except some skins and inventory space, but you can trade ingame items for paid currency with other players. And as it's a "get resources -> craft your weapon" type of game there is also a "pay-to-speed-up" options too. But there isn't any paid "power" items, only visuals.

Onmyoji - turn based rpg, gacha of a rare non-predatory type, mainly monetizing through character skins and interface skins.
All characters are available in gacha pool all the time, with a rateup during new character event, and you only need to get a character once to get their full potential.
No need to pull for duplicates, except if you want for some reason to run two of the same character simultaneously in one team.(you can have whole team of 5 be the same character, game isn't limiting you on that even in pvp matches)
There is a sort of a stamina system, but you can overcap it by unlimited amounts storing however much stamina for later, which is done by literally everyone.
The setting is interesting, characters have a unique look and model (not a reskinned 5 body types), and a lot of skins sold for free ingame currency or as an event rewards.
Relatively easy to get FULL character collection. You don't need to spend a single cent for that.
And you will have enough and even much more than you need ingame currency to do gacha pulls. You don't need battle-passes, monthly subscriptions, premium cards or other often used gacha-game "features" of other modern gacha games.
