I dunno if I'd call it a masterpiece, but something that I think fell under the radar is Chikita Gugu. It's a very wispy and strangely light story about a world of human and demons and this ecology of fear and folly that they've created between themselves. Somehow very grim and morose but still kinda cute without it coming across as some dark comedy. Probably the most enigmatic series I've read. I always felt this strange current running through it that I could never grasp.

Dogs: bullets& carnage. It’s just cool as hell. Really encapsulates that edgy early 2000s violent sci-fi. Great world building, great character design, great atmosphere. Art is a 10/10 for me. Also the covers look great next to each other. Only downside is that it’s unfinished. Would recommend if you got that dog in you.

Living Game
Slice of life romance. Slow paced, and deals with a teen female/adult male that feels natural.

The mangaka has a gift for setting up the scenes and the progression... at one point. more than a year after having read it, I was telling someone about this story and I had forgotten it wasn't an anime. I only realized because I couldn't remember the voice actors or OP and ED.

It's probably first manga that has ever made me cry.
Kind of anomaly in Fantasy genre, because author filled small but beautiful story in only 52 pages, and avoided adding deadbeat lazy "isekai/fantasy" tropes into it.

Beautiful art, detailed designs, world building, tragedy, reunion. Everything you'd expect in a 10 chapter story, filled into 52 pages.

Oh and has a MASSIVE spoiler in google image search, so don't google the name, unless you want story spoiled, it's kinda big twist, but you probably expect it by the end of the story.

Had to read it 2 times to completely grasp the story.
