Yeah, I agree with everyone saying the story is kind of dragging. Honestly, I had a bad feeling when the amnesia arc first started. It's cliche and a lot of people criticize that trope a lot, but I feel like it AT LEAST works better when the person with amnesia is actually still in the plot.
Jeanette's cute, but there's no real conflict with her character. She's probably the worst possible POV character for an arc that SEEMINGLY wants to get involved in mysteries and intrigue. I realllly don't care about her blindly bonding with this weird but hot older man (even if everyone calls him daddy he is NOT a daddy in my eyes until it becomes confirmed that he has children and, preferably, has raised them (no witchcraft, no cloning). Claude and Mr. White are THE daddies in this to my mind's eyes and Dark Claude is a pretender).
Athy may as well be an inanimate object/mascot character right now. Jeanette is GREAT as Athy's sidekick, but I feel like it really doesn't work when the roles are reversed.
And if Athy can teleport I'm not sure what prevents her from going to find Lucas? Did he or did he not tell her where he was going? It's been so long, I forgot. Someone please let me know if my confusion is unfounded.
