It makes sense cause the witches are basically bullies, the strongest one is the leader because everyone throw their weight around to force the weaker ones to obey

Things went south cause they rarely deal with someone so irrational and unpredictable who is also powerful

How the hell did you discern the human skin bit?

I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be lace around the edges of the gloves, not the raggedy edge of messily flayed skin.

But the details are indistinct enough and the edge uneven enough I can see why you might see that.

It's a pretty common story, really. A sheltered girl begins interacting with wider society for the first time, starts to spread her wings a bit, and immediately turns to putty in the hands of the first stern-faced muscle girl who drops a "FIGHT ME IRL YOU FAKE-ASS WITCHFLUENCER" in her DMs.

I know, like, a dozen couples who met this way.

i'm 100% with sadako, how dare the witches stop her from doing what she wants? was she a tiny little bit crazy when she went away? yes, but she grew alone, she is like those home-schooled people, she didn't developed socialization and managing feelings skills

i normally don't like characters like sadako but she is so charismatic and compelling, i need to re-read it to understand myself

Boy she sure does leave a lot of carnage in her rampage…I imagine the secret witch was part of the revolutionary group and Sadako will become even more extreme and start actually killing people to get what she wants. Truly a force of nature that never learned to control herself.

Might be lace but I doubt it, if it is a laced glove and not skin then it's quite badly drawn and that seems unlikely what with the quality the art has had so far (and for it to be badly drawn three times in one (non-comedy) chapter is exceedingly unlikely), then there's the fact that there's like a 99% chance that woman was an Oni and she seemingly purposefully sent our sweet Sadako into berseker mode whilst being very happy about doing so.

How the hell did you discern the human skin bit?

There's a couple pieces of Human furniture and clothing (yes, Human as in the material it's made of) preserved and displayed in a few museums IIRC and there's pics online. You can also buy some of the pieces too but most of them are fake Halloween things cuz it's quite restrictive to legally (yes you can legally do this) produce and sell items made from Human materials that are non-medical.
Plus also basic psychology (people are fucked in the head and can quite casually do messed up shit like make Human/Witch skin gloves when they don't think of the person in question as a person) and context clues in the behaviour of the characters the last few chapters when it comes to Oni and "liberated" Witches.
