Not considered that situation? And they call them magia vende is magic researcher, bruh in front of ur eyes, is freaking new type anomaly magic that can use with sword... It doesn't make sense if u magic researcher ignoring that.

I'm not even pissed at the bad guy right now....that fucking bitch, some magia vander she is....despite being in the the top fucking 5 most powerful people and being the leader of one faction that she leads can't make a powerful decision by herself...is she just a fucking puppet?? Forget Will, she didn't even fucking recruit Julius because she's salty that he can mimic her power??? what sort reasoning is that lol?? She could've very well just taken Will by force, I doubt any fucking could stop her?? I haye useless characters like her, who are powerful in the name only and don't have even an ounce of respect or command on anyone
At this point, they just make world building in racist ass hell, whatever mc do, they will not accept it. I don't mind, will got tested back to back, the reason for it in this chapter just bullsh*t. Elfi stay silent i think it just political reason. Arrrgghhh i wanna yap soo much because this doesn't make sense at all

I dislike this dejavu. The author wants us to sympathize with MC but instead it’s just lazy wash and rinse cycle.

I just want Will to tell the Magia to go eat a family-size bag of camel droppings. “You know what? I’m sure there’s another academy that will accept my gifts. Later, bitches.”

why the author keep repeating this prejudice nonsense after all he has gone through is beyond me...
its like the story dont know how to make MC "great" without resorting to this trope repeatedly. and of course Will going to become even more hardheaded to become respected mage even though he clearly has other path for him.

yea its getting a bit old now, its like reading a cultivation manwha
now you mention it, it really is like cultivation story, but specifically manhua rather than manhwa (because its worse in manhua). where every non important NPCs are almost always insufferable lot who are ignorant and/or arrogant. despite knowing MC just beat someone stronger than them

How come there is so many people bitching about this not making any sense? Are you all fucking insane? Did you forget the world this is going on? Do you not understand the story so far? Seriously, what the fuck?

Yes I get that it is getting repetitive, I agree with that much, but that is about it. There isn't anything else objectively wrong with how the characters are behaving in regards to Will, it actually makes perfect sense. Of course many mages from the tower aren't going to accept Will, even if he has proven his value. Will is essentially a threat to mages and the very basis that their power, both magical and political, is built on.

The author have made it EXTRA FUCKING CLEAR from the very beginning that this world is full of bigotry and racism, and now you expect the higher ups to just shut the fuck up and accept a random bastard that can't even use magic as they know it? How do you think it would look for those other high mages if Will were to just surpass them with ease in combat? Surely he can, this much is obvious, so do you all seriously expect all of them to just bend the knee and accept the humiliation?

They are fucking assholes for sure, but no, this is not a problem of "the author not applying logic", as someone else commented, it is just a severe case of greedy, pride, racism and bigotry, and if it wasn't portrayed properly it would have been criticized just as much.

And for the ones criticizing Elfaria's actions in this chapter, she might be powerful but she is still a 16yo among (mostly) adults, which are likely just as powerful, if not more than her. She has been in that role for just a few years and has no real allies inside the tower from what we have seen, perhaps besides that maid or whatever. She can't just say "fuck it all" and try to attack them, and I'm gonna take a guess and say that the "king" is not king for no reason.

Being hostile might also cause even more problems to Will, so maybe consider that.

Perhaps if she wasn't pretty much a hikikomori she could have built some political power for herself, but now it is a bit too late for that.

But what baffles me the most, although I believe many of those comments are half joking, but why the fuck would he look into leaving and/or joining a different school or organization? The sole reason he is ascending the tower is to fulfill his promise with Elfaria, he is not looking for renown or anything else, he just wants to be by her side, and like I mentioned before she is likely "trapped" in her position for the time being, and also waiting for Will since he hasn't given up yet.

aaaaaand here we fucking go again holy shit 🤦🏾‍♂️ The author really needs to make it interesting in some other way because repeating the same shit time and time and time again is just boring. How many times does Will have to be the second coming of Jesus for them to stop making new rules on the moment to fuck him up? How many times does he need to be a hero for people who put explicit effort into discriminating him? You can't have a WHOLE story being about just overcoming unjust adversity. You can't keep cycling the "omg adversity, omg the MC can't do it, but he doesn't give up! he can do it, turns out he is too great for that challenge"

So what? if the bigotry and racism will just keep manifesting without any changes or without any real pushback then what the hell is the point? Those elements are there to be challenge, but they are not getting challenged, instead, they are just presented as adversity for the MC to infinitely overcome because the author doesn't have the imagination to do anything else.

And for the ones criticizing Elfaria's actions in this chapter, she might be powerful but she is still a 16yo among (mostly) adults, which are likely just as powerful, if not more than her
Then she is useless, can the story stop presenting her as a goddess if she is incapable of even moving the needle just a little bit?

Being hostile might also cause even more problems to Will, so maybe consider that.
That might actually be good, instead of pretending that he has a change, just stop him forever. But they will keep dangling the carrot just out of reach because we wouldn't have a story otherwise as the author spent all of his brainpower in Danmachi

and like I mentioned before she is likely "trapped" in her position for the time being, and also waiting for Will since he hasn't given up yet.
I really need an explanation about this, how is she trapped? is she "trapped" because they need her for the magic barrier thing? if that's the case then she should have an insane power to just say "I will not do it if Will is not given an actual change instead of you fuckers just making new rules to fuck with him", Will is already putting everything in the line, she should do the same. Everyone is gonna die if she doesn't do her thing? well, it is what it is, either justice for all or justice for none

That is simply wrong. There was clear change in the academy after he saved everyone, however the ones in the tower still have their heads up in their own asses, but the whole point of this new arc is probably to change that.
Again, I agree it is getting a bit boring, but in a way or another it does make sense, you can't expect everyone to completely change their culture overnight, which is "magic above all else".

Then she is useless, can the story stop presenting her as a goddess if she is incapable of even moving the needle just a little bit?
The story never presented her as a goddess, she is just a prodigy in magic. Yes, people idolize her, but this is just the population's perception of her. On the contrary, time and time again it was shown that she is just a lazy girl at the end of the day.
That said, she did quite a bit of "moving the needle". If it wasn't by her Will wouldn't even be given a chance, he would be thrown into the colorless city forever, but even with all the bullshit going on he is at least being given another chance to prove himself.
And tbh, if another chance didn't appear this time, she seemed ready to actually fight for him.

Pretty much. She might have the power to take down one or two of the other wands, but I doubt she is strong enough to fight against all of them.

if that's the case then she should have an insane power to just say "I will not do it if Will is not given an actual change instead of you fuckers just making new rules to fuck with him", Will is already putting everything in the line, she should do the same. This goes both ways. They could kidnap Will to a far away place and threaten to kill him if she doesn't comply, it is a risky move that is absolutely stupid to make unless it is a last resort. Just take his sword away in his sleep and he becomes easy prey lol
And besides that, while it is more convenient and safer for them to keep her around, they might be able to find a replacement in time.

To put it short, there is still a path with less violence in which WIll and Elfaria might be able to live happily and fulfill their dreams, without needing to run away and fight for their lives against the tower, so yeah they are probably gonna try that one first.

Is really annoying how a lot of people idea of logic is "everything works out in my favor just like that" and then complain about stories with overpowered characters that every other character unquestionably loves
