weight. which will also impact his mobility if he needs to fight, and there's a good chance he can lose everything if the bag is taken or destroyed. Yajin suspected he rubbed them the wrong way, and prepared it in case he had to skip town, like spies have a go-bag in drop locations. Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. He abided by the rules of the Guild in that duel, but I guess the boss didn't have any intention of sticking to them.
