Also I find the map more reminiscent to India than Brazil, with the Sea bordering both the east and west of the country to the south with a major landmass to the north of it.

Wording: "The two of them did not feel uncanny..." I'm guessing that "discordant" would be a translation. Priestess said pretty much the same thing, when she was in Ryuu's mind.

Small Time Jump: Why the complaints? There was really well done panel explaining the travel AND relating it to all past travel. It's just that nothing much happened during the intervening period, so it was skipped.

Nui & Ojiisan: Lol! Ojiisan has a new fan! Lets hope she gets over it soon, since she needs to attend to Ryuu.
